Riley’s dog treats are made with certified organic human-grade ingredients. As first to market, Riley’s had a distinct advantage, yet their packaging lacked the qualities of an innovative category leader. We were brought in to upgrade the brand and help position them as a champion for organic treats. The new design leverages the impact and distinctiveness of orange within the category. Prominently placed, the updated brandmark has both human and playful qualities. Ingredient photography strengthens freshness and taste perceptions, while enhanced product callouts improve shopability. In an oversaturated pet treat aisle, the simple and iconic nature of the new brand clearly cuts through… “orange is the new organic”.
