Nature Fresh.
Brand refresh.

Freshmade led the Nature Fresh Farms product brand development and packaging design, including brand strategy, product naming, packaging design, visual identity, trademark expression development, trade booth design, and video production.

Nature Fresh Farms had already gone through a brand refresh — but despite being a leader in the greenhouse-grown category, the brand still read like a commodity. The problem wasn’t the brand itself; it was that the identity wasn’t doing enough to hero the products. Premium offerings like colorful tomatoes on the vine and sweet year-round strawberries deserved to be branded experiences in their own right, not just produce sitting on a shelf.

Freshmade’s strategy was to move the brand away from the purely flavor-led communication that dominates the fresh produce category and into something more emotional and visceral — tapping into the deep nostalgia that genuinely fresh produce evokes. That insight drove the naming system: flagship products were given sensorial, textural names designed to communicate the flavor and eating experience of each variety before a consumer even picks it up. The visual identity followed — colorful, punchy, and expressive enough to create real shelf impact in a category that rarely achieves it.

Freshmade also coined and trademarked the brand expression “Greenhouse Clean” — a ownable platform that communicates Nature Fresh Farms’ growing standards with the kind of clarity and conviction that builds category authority. The work extended beyond packaging into trade booth design and video, giving Nature Fresh Farms the same impact in the industry as on the shelf.

Within six months of launch, Nature Fresh Farms reported a 35% increase in same store sales for refreshed products. Freshmade served as the lead agency responsible for Nature Fresh Farms’ product naming, packaging design, and brand expression development.
